Clay Cross Town Regeneration
Clay Cross is being revitalised with a new public-realm events space alongside refurbished heritage and new incubation units. We led sustainability through RIBA stages with embodied-carbon assessments, adopting hybrid steel-timber floors/roofs, and delivered Phase 1/2 GI plus a mining risk assessment with grout-testing recommendations for foundation suitability. Our acoustics team completed baseline surveys, event-noise modelling and prepared a Noise Management Plan.
The Newlands, Newark
The Newlands is a new, eco-residential development located on a former brownfield site in Fernwood, Newark. The nine properties have all been manufactured offsite, following Ilke Homes’ modular build model. With an efficient, onsite construction time of approximately two days, schemes like this will go some way to help address the housing crisis.
The Nottingham River Trent Footbridge
Dice was appointed by Balfour Beatty to join forces with Ramboll UK and assist in the delivery of a visionary project, the construction of a new pedestrian and cyclist bridge across the River Trent in Nottingham.
This ambitious project aims to forge vital links between the burgeoning Waterside Regeneration Area, Colwick Park, and the Lady Bay and West Bridgeford areas, heralding the first bridge to span the River Trent in Nottingham in over 60 years.
Costa Coffee, Anglia Retail Park
This existing Costa Coffee store in Ipswich were looking to expand their service offering and therefore want to extend their store to form a brand new drive thru ‘serving pod’.
This is the first ever drive thru extension the coffee chain has done in the UK, and it serves to meet growing demand for their products, as well as improving efficiency and the operations of the Costa team.
